    Unfortunately, Mo Ran thinks Chu Wanning is already taken… by the perpetually irate Tanlang Elder, who attends every class for “moral support” and keeps advising Chu Wanning to lock Mo Ran in his barn for Stockholm Syndrome purposes.

    When Chu Wanning wakes up for the second time, much calmer and clear-headed but progressively burning in need, he is all wrapped up around an almost naked, definitely human Mo Ran.

    He doesn’t move - doesn’t get closer, already mortally embarrassed by how clingy he must have been, nor does he shift back, the earthly, musky scent so typical of Mo Ran enveloping him just as effectively as his arms are doing, secured around his back as his fingers draw imaginary patterns on his skin.

    Oh, this feels nice. Chu Wanning feels boneless, basking in the attention and purring involuntary in contentment. He is tempted to drift off to sleep for a couple of minutes more, until he realizes how Mo Ran’s fingertips are dancing on his naked skin, just under his shirt and above the hem of his pants, and freezes on the spot.

    He looks up to meet bright, mischievous eyes slightly tinted in red and a playful smirk on plump lips.

    Spending years apart feel as hard on them as being close but unable to communicate. Like right now, with Chu Wanning in the middle of his heat. In a cave hidden in the wood. With Mo Ran stuck with him.

    “Oh my god, I’m so sorry, man. I wasn’t looking, that’s my fault.” Mo Ran apologized, looking down at exactly who he ran into and from that moment on, his heart was stolen.

    Standing only a few inches below him was the most beautiful person he had ever seen. Long dark brown hair tied into a high ponytail, phoenix eyes settled into a glare and pink lips pursed into a tight line. The stranger’s face was sharp, but alluring all the same. A light shade of pink had brushed itself across his cheeks and in the corners of his eyes. Mo Ran opened his mouth to speak, but words just refused to come out.

    “Excuse me.” The man said, rather curtly before stepping to the side and walking past Mo Ran — In the wrong direction.

    Or! Mo Ran an Aircraft Dispatcher who longs for change runs into the new Captain at work and his life is forever changed.
