“My back still hurts,” Noctis says, and Prompto counts it as the fifth declaration today. “I don’t think we can go out like this. What if I tell some random street vendor that I’m a virgin or something?”
“Whoa— hey, buddy! What’s your favorite video game?”
Prompto is content with never knowing how his friends truly feel about him. Why did that daemon have to hit everyone but him?

Summary
They’ve entered into a kind of truce. Vincent Valentine will occasionally drop the remaining Turks info, hints on things they should be looking into, materializing from the darkness like a phantom. Like the memories of past Turks coalesced into a single stoic ghost that is still inexorably chained to the company, even in death.
Reno and Vincent have their own kind of truce.

Summary
Reaping Eve is a holiday in District 4, where no one enters the arena except by choice. The families of young children celebrate their safety; the Elites who will volunteer have been training for this moment all their lives. But on Reaping Eve of the 65th Hunger Games, there's an accident. On Reaping Day, there's a dare. Equal parts cocky and compassionate, fourteen-year-old Finnick volunteers against Mags' instructions. Somehow that's all it takes for the system to start breaking down, especially for the most prominent Elite family in Four: the Crestas. Watching from home as a newly minted celebrity demolishes the competition isn't what they'd planned on.
Or: It's all well and good to live in a Career district and know someone will always volunteer. But someone has to be the person who's been told from birth that his highest calling is to be a human sacrifice.
Shout out to CryptidGrimnoir137 as my sounding board, including prompting the original idea.
Marked complete because the original ending is complete. Alternate ending is on hiatus/possibly abandoned.

Summary
It’s the most wonderful time of the year! We can’t wait until we can say Happy Hunger Games in earnest (only another month!), but in the meantime, we are celebrating the best moment of Games from years past. Make sure you also check out our list of the most iconic final showdowns and our favorite post-victory moments.
What’s on the plate for today? Glad you asked! The Games are all about triumph, but they’re also all about tragedy (which makes those victories even sweeter). Today, we’re looking at 17 final moments from Tributes that we are still thinking about. To make it harder for ourselves, we could only pick one from each Games (so if your favorite didn’t make the cut, that could be why!). Some made us scream, some made us cry, and a few even made us laugh (you’ll see!). Read on!
