Summary
Daeron was of the opinion that he needn’t have come with his uncle Rhaegel as they traveled to the Eyrie, but his father insisted that Daeron go, hoping the honor and chivalry so prevalent in the Vale will change his drunken, whoring ways.
What he gets is an attack on their entourage, being taken by one of the mountain clans, and sent off as an offering to the fire-witch’s pet.
Except the pet is no monster, the witch is a girl with startlingly familiar eyes, and Daeron finds himself faced with a dragon long thought to be dead.

When Stannis was gone, Renly couldn’t help but look up once more, towards the comet hanging in the sky. Bright red, and so far away. It had appeared last night and would surely vanish from the sky within the evening, continuing its course through space away from the planet with no name where Renly had been reborn. The planet where, he knew, he would face dragons and monsters born from the cold.
Renly turned away. The comet did not mean anything. He had more pressing matters to attend anyway. He was going North to meet the infamous Ned Stark. With any luck, maybe he would finally find the beginning of the Plot.
Or maybe the Plot would find him.

Fascinating self insert where the SI only knows there’s a war and Daenerys and something about the long night, but very few details. Renly is a very capable courtier and at one point had warm relations with the lannisters. Renly tries to teach Ned about court stuff and Ned reluctantly learns.
Ch 24
Spoilers below!Renly’s interventions have resulted in a trueborn daughter Jocelyn Baratheon, close relations with Dorne, a better informed Ned, and better relations with his siblings. This Renly is suited to be the Hand and a maester, and has created some tech uplift by funding concrete and healthcare. He also uses his Red Cross as a spy network. He’s FWB with Daemon Sand rn, but there were rumors of him having a lowborn mistress and relationship with Arianne, so there’s less suspicion of him being gay. The red woman has arrived on Dragonstone. Ned brought various bannermen and Theon south with him, and Jon and Bran will be with Renly. Edric met Tyrion at the wall.Jocelyn interfered in the whole Joffrey Nymeria thing, making Joffrey look worse to Robert and the North. Robert was big mad at Joffrey but Jaime went ahead and killed Nymeria without authorization.

Ch 15
Ilya created a giant organization of straight allies, out players, and queer players. He got lawyers involved bc potential legal trouble on leaking info and rigging games. League tried to rig playoffs and otherwise do bigotry via refs until Ilya’s RogueMLH account called it out. Crowell asked Scott for the 6 teams without gay players so Ilya ofc put 6 teams with gay players to ensure another RASHYCOCK. We got self hating gay Troy. Washington won the 2019 cup. Crowell was mad mad, so he threatened Scott and asked the GMs of all the teams if they have a gay player. -

Robert died, Joffrey was crowned with Ned as Regent. Joffrey wrote a bunch of very civil letters with little hope of them mattering. Joffrey is at Riverrun with a potential Isekai!Edmure. Stannis is heading to KL for a trial, and Joffrey is preparing for the trial.
