Everything was okay.
Sunny had faced his fears. He had told his friends the truth.
For obvious reasons, they all needed some time and space to think. Hence why a part of him was pretty grateful to move to his new home once he fully recovered.
Even though things were a bit bumpy at the moment, he knew everything was going to be okay. He had hope for once.He would also never need HEADSPACE again. Which was good.
...But that also left him stuck.
Stuck in a reality where he now has to focus back to his own family. His friends. His life.
Which meant facing all of them daily.His hurt friends, his mentally ill mother, his absent father, and... her.
The one with a bright smile that reminded him of Mari.
The one with long hair that reminded him of Mari.
The one whose eyes carried the ghost of Mari.Maya.
His little sister.The last thing his brain had forced him to forget.
The last thing stopping him from moving on.This summer they were visiting their old home again for the first time. It had to be perfect. And she was stopping that.
He needed to do SOMETHING about this.
