"Benny?" Running around the corner, Childe finds a mess of colorful parasols on the ground, an exasperated vendor, and Bennett on his knees. "Bennett—!"
Childe doesn't have the chance to reach out to Bennett as a Millelith Soldier blocks his path, the tall man lifting Bennett by the armpits and setting him upright. A tiny squeak escapes Bennett's mouth before blabbering first thanks then apologies to the Soldier and the vendor picking up the scattered parasols, respectively.
Childe tries to keep his cool—tries, as much as he can, as he notices the Soldier's hand lingering on Bennett's shoulder.
Bennett surprises Childe by showing up in Liyue, and ends up catching the eye of a Millelith Soldier.
