"I, uh," She tried, but she couldn't remember why she came down here in the first place, she's not even sure if she had a reason to be in his office after hours. Rebecca's mind was blank as she openly stared at Ted.
Ted, who was smiling at her, the corner of his eyes crinkling, eyes bright underneath the lens of his 𝘨𝘭𝘢𝘴𝘴𝘦𝘴. The glasses slid down once again but Ted didn't make a move to adjust them and Rebecca was so tempted to do it for him.

She doesn’t want to interfere—knows that Henry loves and needs the time with his father as much as Ted does with his son. She doesn’t want to be a burden or an interruption; but she also fears being too standoffish, too aloof, of appearing uninterested in Henry’s life. Kids notice, she knows, and she’s done her best to treat him kindly and ask questions, even when she’s met with one word answers and shrugs.

“Sometimes.” He unzipped it and peered in. “Not tonight, though.”
Rebecca’s heart was already beating faster. “What’s in--what do you want to do?”
Ted looked her up and down and licked his lips, eyeing her thoughtfully...and hungrily. That flash of tongue sent a shiver down her spine. “What I really want to do is tie you up.”
After a week of wondering whether the previous weekend was a fluke, Rebecca finds out it definitely was not.

Everything had been going exactly to plan — her manicure and pedicure looked perfect, the tension in her lower back was mostly gone, and she was certain that new exfoliation treatment had made her skin literally start to glow — until she’d stepped into the sauna and spotted Ted sitting in the corner, a towel slung low around his waist.
