When she approaches the house, something feels wrong— terribly wrong . There are no curtains on any of the windows she can see, the picket fence is collecting dust, and the small garden in the front yard looks like it hasn’t been tended to for years. Fear courses through her veins; her father would never leave his garden unattended. What could this mean? Every possibility crosses her mind; each one worse than the previous. The story focuses on the slowly growing relationship between Severus Snape and Hermione Granger, and follows them to her last year at Hogwarts. It is mixed with the adventure of horcrux hunting. While the relationship blossoms while they are still a student and teacher, Hermione is of age by the time anything happens between them (actually 19 because of the time she aged using a time turner).
