Phil screamed something, and instantly a crushing force struck Technoblade's skull. It rattled him to the core, doused his vision in red, and then all he knew was black.
He gasped awake moments later to the sound of his communicator pinging softly at his bedside table, and when Technoblade opened his eyes, New L'manburg was nowhere in sight.

Philza nodded hesitantly, his worry slowly easing out from his wing's posture. He could never fully keep his emotions out of their movements. "Alright. Just tell me if it gets worse okay? Can't have you gettin' sick on my watch."
Techno nodded and watched as Philza sighed, gIancing at Technoblade from behind blonde bangs before continuing softly. "I know how you are Techno. You'd keep somethin' serious from us if ya thought we didn't need to know about it. Just- stay safe, okay man?"
With his throat caught on the petals of his lies, there was little else Techno could do but gently squeeze Phil's shoulder in a silent reassurance as the bloodied petals burned holes in his pockets.

Yasashii pressed their hand against their side, gritting their teeth together in an effort to not voice their pain. "Wolfsboon sensei never said anything about a second exercise." They paused, scanning the building filled cityscape worriedly. Taiyuu was a heroics school, and everyone knew heroics teachers liked to pull the rug from under their students' feet, but Yasashii knew the tone of Buckskin's voice like the back of their hand. Something was wrong.

When Shouta was little, he’d sneak past his parent’s room to crawl into the small fire escape by their balcony, just to look up at the sky and watch the Stars say hello.
He’d forget about the looks he’d get from peers who thought he didn’t see them, he’d forget, just for a moment, of his father’s disinterest and his mother’s busy schedule and professional lifestyle. Instead, he’d watch the galaxies twinkle and smile down at him and think ‘I’m home’
What Shouta didn’t know was that the Stars in the Sky have always been watching him. They’ve seen him be looked down upon and pushed away and they’ve given him Gifts to help him along, to help him survive.
They smile at a boy whose heart is too lonely for his own good, and they think ‘He will be Our Second, and he will make waves in his kind’s own galaxy. He will have many to call his Own, and he will protect them, simply by being a Star.’

“How about instead of hugging now,” Shouta paused, making sure his intoxicated husband was listening before he continued, “I’ll give you a hug when we get home. This way we won’t be standing in snow all night long.”
Hizashi looked at his feet, noticing for what looked like the first time that they were indeed, standing in half melted snow. “Promise?” He asked, holding out his pinkie finger determinedly.
Shouta rolled his eyes fondly, crossing his pinky over Hizashi’s. “Promise.”
