Summary
It’s Molly Drake’s 15th birthday and exactly three years after her mother’s death. Since then, she celebrates the date going to her mother’s grave, despite her godfather’s attempt to make surprise parties every year. The truth is, although young, Molly is too mature for her own age, and has a very clear goal in life – to see the man who shot her mother behind bars. She has collected every single piece of information about that day three years ago almost obsessively.
It’s on her 15th birthday that tragedy crosses Molly’s path once again. On the brink of death, she’s lead backwards in time, to 1989, where she’ll find more questions and surprises than a teenage girl can handle, it doesn’t matter how mature they think they are.
She doesn’t know how she got there. She doesn’t know what all of that means or what she’s supposed to do. All she knows is that a certain DCI is not happy to see her.

It's Christmas Eve and Donna set out on a mission: to find her mother's old trainers and a stupid silver pen. Yup, that's Christmas Eve for Donna Noble. While her mother spend Christmas in Italy with a new boyfriend, she requests that Donna go through their old house stuff to find some things for her. However, Donna might not find what she want to find, but rather what she needs.
This story takes place before Rule One, the other Donna Who? prequel.
SERIES: Donna's Time Lord knowledge is back, but not her memories. She doesn't know what she means to the world or how all that knowledge got inside her brain. All Donna knows is that she wants to use it for a good cause, but this may be far more difficult than she imagines - especially because having her Time Lord consciousness back wasn't a gift of any kind, but a manoeuvre to a greater (and darker) cause.
This is the story of her journey in search of who she is and how she came to be. This is the last story of Donna Noble, the most important woman in the whole of creation. And this is a prequel to these events.
