    “How do I tell her….” Claude mumbles to himself with a frown, not wanting to disappoint the younger deer. He can already picture the disappointment and sadness on her face replacing that cheerful smile.

    “Tell who, what?”

    A deep voice, that easily makes Claude jump and stumble back a bit. He lifts the flashlight to point up, where it reveals the handsome blond Blue Lions leader. He appears now shirtless with only his trunks on and blue visor in hand. He squints, putting his hands up to cover the light directed right in his eyes. Claude can feel a warm tint of pink spread across his nose bridge at the sight of Dimitri. He moves the light back down, apologizing. “Sorry! You startled me.”

    Bowser’s life isn’t going so great. His castle got haunted (a “friendly gift” from King Boo), his responsibilities are taking a toll on him, and his heart just about shatters when he gets a letter in the mail officially banning him and his family from attending Mario and Princess Peach’s wedding. The issue isn’t that they were banned, that much was expected.

    The issue is that Junior thought they WERE invited and proceeded to tell the rest of The Royal Family. Now his kids are over the moon, glad that Bowser is over Peach, and so grateful that the Princess is being kind and patient enough to invite him and his family to her wedding.

    Bowser’s family is his entire world. How could he possibly break the truth to them? He just can’t.

    His only solution is to figure out a way to keep up the lie, long enough to somehow turn it into the truth.

    Even if it makes him resort to lows he wasn't aware he was capable of stooping to.
