For Evan, every day usually turned out the same and he always knew what to expect. His home life may not be ideal, but as soon as he turned eighteen, he was moving out and living with Charlie until they started college together that fall. He had always looked forward to starting the next phase of his life and making happier memories with Charlie; it had never once crossed his mind that that was not how things would play out.

Summary

Summary
Evan never had a smooth life. The only good thing he ever had was his best friend, Charlie. Even that didn't last forever. Just a couple months after Charlie died in a car accident, Evan somehow ended up being transported to another world, a world of magic. Not only was he in a new place, he also gained new magic, magic that he doesn't know how to control.
Now he goes by the name Zander and has a group that he's been traveling with, but as should be expected after all the events that happened, he's struggling. When he had a bad day in the past he would always go to Charlie, but that isn't possible anymore, so instead he writes letters to him in a journal.
This is his journal. His record of events as he sees them. His coping method.
