Summary
Xehanort may have set up a perfect house of cards, but Maleficent is intent on knocking it down. She's been irrelevant for far too long, and now, with a little help from some villainous friends, she's going to take back her crown. To help her, she has called upon Hades the Lord of the Dead, Ursula the Sea Witch, Loki the God of Mischief, Doctor Doom the Tyrannical Ruler of Latveria, Russell Edgington the Vampire King of Mississippi, and Fish Mooney the Mob Boss of Gotham City's Theater district. Their evil brotherhood doesn't end there! More villains flock to their aid as they seek the means to rule all worlds with an iron fist.
A Kingdom Hearts based crossover set post-Dream Drop Distance with various other fandoms featured as "Other Worlds." The main characters are a villain team who do villainous things but (for the most part) genuinely like each other. Contains M/M, M/F, and F/F ships.
Fic assumes familiarity with Kingdom Hearts. It's also a good idea to have some knowledge of Marvel comics (particularly the Marvel Ultimate Alliance video game), HBO's True Blood, ABC's Once Upon a Time, and Fox's Gotham.

More petty and vengeful than the previous pantheon of gods, the Overtakers now have turned their sights towards expanding their power to encompass the rest of the cosmos. Yet the path to power is not a simple one, and the Overtakers may find truth in the phrase "it's tough to be a god."
Part three of Quite a Glittering Assemblage. This fic probably won't make a ton of sense if you haven't read the first two parts unless you're just really good at going with the flow. This fic will be more episodic and less structured than its predecessors.

Maleficent and her Overtakers from across many worlds were defeated, and their schemes to harness the power of the Book of Prophecies were undone thanks to Sora and his friends. Now they find themselves in the clutches of the fearsome Master Octomus. The Overtakers may have been villains and cutthroats, but the Master is something infinitely worse. However, the villains have been down and out before, and one thing has always remained true: never underestimate them.
