    Four weeks ago, Alex Turner's life had been perfect. He’d been a successful singer, had just come back from the first half of a madly profitable world tour, in his pocket he’d carried a hefty diamond engagement ring, and the course for the rest of his life had seemed set.
    Now, he was a drunk fuck at a wedding he couldn’t get out of, shedding the confetti remains of his torn heart out to some guy he scarcely knew safe for a few random words over the years, and to top off this multi-tiered wedding cake of catastrophic events, a few feet away sat his ex-girlfriend kissing her new boyfriend, making a show of it.
    Being a sensible person was not something that could be expected of him at the moment. Instead, Alex took one giant step further toward insanity. “Be my fake boyfriend.”
    "You're nuts," judged Miles Kane.
