Summary
To say that Finnegan Ferris has had a hard life would be a bit of an understatement. Constantly sick, crippled, and afflicted with the worst luck of anyone he's ever known, it wouldn't be a stretch to assume that he's cursed. Both of his parents are renowned pokémon trainers, and yet Finn has never been able to get a pokémon to trust him. Everyone knows that a trainer gets their pokémon at ten, which is why Finn finds it so upsetting that he's almost fourteen and has yet to find a partner.
Yet sometimes luck turns suddenly, and although Finn doesn't know it yet he's about to go on the adventure of a lifetime.

He hears Bianca swallow in between his own sobs. “I’ve been gone for a long time, haven’t I?” She says, hand resting on his back. Nico doesn’t respond, only whimpers leave his lips. “It’s okay, Nico, I’m here now. Just cry, Nico.”
And cry he does.

Or, when Bianca somehow comes back from the dead, she, Nico and Will are sent on a quest that will hopefully answer some lingering questions. But Nico and Bianca are not the kids that they once were, and things get very difficult as a result.
