Summary
They say that the first warp stars were created in a way similar to a star, the gasses of a nebula collapsing not around themselves but around a core of magic. Another theory is that they were created by the collapse of the first stars, which is why there are so few of them. Another is that they came from Another Dimension, a place as strange and mysterious as the warp stars themselves.

There's NOTHING else going on....the issue is that Flowey knows exactly what it looks like when someone is just pretending to feel something.

Using his good hand, he shifted forward, using all his strength to put weight on one foot, and…
Nothing. He had no strength in his legs right now. He tried again, and again, and each time, they would give way, and another twinge would ripple upwards. On his last attempt, his foot slipped, almost sending him face-first into the dirt. Standing up on his own, let alone walking, was out of the question right now.
Crawling, one-armed, a great distance with very little strength? That wasn’t sensible either. No, right now, all Flowery could do was… stay put.
What a laugh. He was just as useless as a flower.
(That wasn’t right. Flowers weren’t useless… But like this, with no one to see him, what good was he?)
He sighed, feeling the exhaustion catch back up to him. Shuffling into a comfortable position as best he could, Flowery took one deep breath,and called for help.

When Flowery reawakens at the world's end, he finds his injuries too debilitating to move. Left all alone, he can only reminisce on times past, and hope that someone, anyone, will find him.
