His burns were a mere background idea, as currently he is running for his life. Breaking through a server’s firewalls is no easy feat, and getting through unscathed is unheard of.
Xelqua is no exception, even as a Watcher.
or: Server firewalls are quite literal. Xelqua knows this as a former Watcher but hasn't had firsthand experience with it until now. He's covered in burns. Also, his name isn’t Grian, its Xelqua. Why does this mustached guy they keep calling him that??

Summary
Tim carved himself a place with the Wayne's. He bled for a chance to don a domino mask. He endured condescension, attempts on his life that were met with no reprimand, he even endured Robin - the one thing he had left - being taken and given to Damian. He went on a trip around the goddamn world just to find Bruce after he was lost in the timestream. He cried, fought, bled, underwent medical malpractice, and still found his adopted father. All to be met with no apologies for his eldest brother's threats of Arkahm, and a request for his emancipation so Bruce wouldn't have to run Wayne Enterprises.
Tim Drake-Wayne dropped the hypenation.
He was never a Wayne, and he finally realized it.

Summary
Tim Drake is an adult. He has his own suit, his own name, his own place in the world. Everything he ever wanted. But missions no longer fulfill him. Wayne Enterprises keeps him busy, and the Nest feels emptier than ever.
Something inside him knows that if he keeps on this way, he won't be around much longer. And if he's honest with himself, he's not sure that bothers him.
Or, Tim Drake made a mistake, and he doesn't know how to forgive himself. But he has too many siblings and friends to help him.

Summary
After a while, he lost count of how long he’d been here. He didn’t even know where here was. All he knew was her. It was always her.
He missed his parents. Realistically he knew he should hate them. After all, they are the reason he was put here in the first place. They are the reason he was stuck in this place with her.
“Honey, I’m home!!” She calls out, the sound of her swinging the door open, shutting it, then locking it with the jingle of her keys.
He recognized her by voice, having heard the voice for years upon years by this point. He’s sure it’s been years.
As she rounds the corner, he immediately recognizes her dark brown hair, it’s about shoulder length now, maybe a bit longer. Her eyes are a dark brown as well, but a lot darker, nearly black, when he was younger he felt like if he looked at them for to long, they would pull him in. He always felt unsafe when they gazed upon him. Maybe it was the crazed look in her eyes when she saw him, but not him. He learned a while ago that he isn’t Timothy Drake to her.
Or, Tim Drake is sold by his parents at age ten, and four and a half years later people start realizing he’s gone.

Summary
Tim Drake has lost practically all contact with the Batfamily after his falling out with them over batman's supposed death, now working as a vigilante outside of the Batfamily support he makes a small mistake in a fight and doesn't bother saving himself. Superman, on the other hand, does bother to save him.

essentially just me being incredibly pissed at dc writers for continuously sidelining tim drake, ruining his friendships by freaking retconning them and being absolutely STARVED for tim drake content in the big (almost) 2026 and resolving myself to solve this issue at once. (this will be a multiple part series of which this three chapter fic is the beginning !!)
