Alhaitham's fingers carded through blonde hair, scratching at his scalp as he carefully worked out the tension from being pinned back and styled all day. It was mind-numbingly good, and Kaveh essentially moaned at the sensation. Alhaitham cleared his throat. "...you feel as if you need discipline?" he asked quietly.
Of course he did. Kaveh was a mess. He nodded into his partner's skin and almost felt the rumble of the responding hum. For a while, neither man moved nor spoke. The arms holding Kaveh felt safe, and he melted into them. One hand continued to pet his hair while the other rubbed small circles on his back with feather-light fingertips. Kaveh pressed an adoring kiss to a strong shoulder, letting his own hands tangle gently--if not clumsily--into silvery locks.
"Would you be receptive to allowing me to administer that discipline?"

In light of some self-destructive habits, Alhaitham and Kaveh fall into a new dynamic. It's an embarrassing shift of power in the household when the time comes to address the issue, but they know each other well enough to trust in it.

Kaveh scowls through the pain. “Quit touching me, then!”
He steps out of Alhaitham’s reach and shoves his trousers down. He isn’t used to seeing such a pronounced protrusion in his loincloth. Heat rises to his cheeks, and he falters, one hand resting on the knot at his hip.
“Since when have you been so shy?” Alhaitham asks, circling around him and beginning to unpin his hair.
“This looks ridiculous,” Kaveh mutters, staring at the bump of the cage behind the silk.

In exchange for room and board, Kaveh signs away his body to Alhaitham. But when he loses his key again, he learns the hard way that Alhaitham is quite the unforgiving disciplinarian.

Part of her, a part she was ashamed of, wanted to hurt him, to make him regret everything he ever did to her, to make him feel just as bad as she did. But she *was* ashamed of that part of herself. It would've been wrong no matter what angle she looked at it from when she thought it through logically. He was only a kid now, he didn't seem to have any recollection of who she nor Atsushi were. And besides, if she went through with this desire, if she stooped down to his level, wouldn’t that make her just as bad as he was?
