Summary
Bill Cipher has not been doing well in theraprism.
In fact, he's made such little progress that The Axolotl is no longer sure if he can be redeemed.
Bill is given one last chance: return to Gravity Falls to make amends with the Pines family and prove he can change or be permanently erased from the fabric of the universe.
He jumps at the opportunity, confident he can find a way out of his agreement, but with the Pines keeping so close an eye on him, will he succeed? Or will his new human condition bring about a change of heart he hadn't anticipated?Alternatively:
The Pines try to teach a trillion year old dream demon about love and empathy. As of right now, I’m updating this every other Sunday. If you want to know about any delays, early updates, or to come interact and check out some cool fanart, you can find me here!

Summary
"You better not start feeling sorry for me," Bill bristles, pointing a finger at Ford. "Save your speech about all the good humanity has to offer for someone who cares, blah, blah, blah, waterworks— Do you know how many humans I possessed before you came along? So many! All your good parts come from drugs and cotton candy, and the rest is just different volumes of agony! 'Ow, my back! Oww, my old teeth! Oh, there goes my sciatica and diabetes'! In my world, I would've deleted cancer! Missed your chance for that, buddy!"
"No, in your world, you would have externalized cancer into an autonomous creature that preyed upon people like an apex predator," Ford says simply.

Bill Cipher has to learn how to be powerless and human, dragged through the ashes of a tapestry that once depicted his godly form. Stanford Pines has to learn how to exist in this dimension again, adrift and 'purpose' completed. Stanley Pines has to learn how to resurrect a man who's been dead for thirty years.

Summary
“So.” Ford drums his fingers on the car steering wheel. “This cross-state road trip. Is that, uh, part of the whole ‘making amends’ thing?”
“Nope.” Pops Bills, which is floating-triangle-pretending-to-be-a-car-freshener speak for yes, and you’re going to hate every minute of it.

Summary
"We at the Theraprism are happy to tell you that your spouse is safe and healthy.”
“I don’t have a spouse.” Said Ford.
“Yes, you do.” The entity pulled out a holographic binder. “Here, I have the paperwork."
Ford, suddenly assaulted by ghosts of lost, alcohol-soaked, hazy, whisp-like memories circling in the periphery of his mind, went deathly pale and had to take a step back to lean his weight against the cash-counter.
“I- That- That cannot have been legally binding!"
Or: Stanley Pines isn't the only one in the Pines family to get blackout drunk and married on a whim.
