Star had always preferred a life lacking in responsibility, comfortable with letting her mother take care of any of the more daunting tasks within their Kingdom. So, when her twenty-first birthday marks her turn to take on the wand, she is neither eager nor prepared. A failed assassination attempt lands her a one-way trip to Earth for the remainder of her magic training, and her life is flipped upside down. But maybe this change of scenery isn't so bad.
After everything he's been through, Marco had made up his mind: his third year of college is going to be entirely chaos free. He just wants to finish his studies and move on with his life. And almost being sucked into a vortex by the newest inter-dimensional student isn't going to dampen his spirits. Neither will the fact that she seems to have taken an unnervingly firm interest in gaining his friendship.
