The blond groaned and slapped the button on top of the radio, turning off the daily briefing. He had that same, terrible dream again—but this time, he woke up in a cold sweat.

No—he’d definitely get caught. That’s a bad idea.
But it’d be warm by the fire—he’d probably live longer if he went down and grabbed some food. Besides, the man just left it there!
His stomach took priority.

Tommy is a child soldier sent to fight a losing battle, only to meet an enemy soldier that doesn’t seem to enjoy the fact that Tommy is a child on the battlefield. (Also, it’s really cold)

The piglin looked up into the tree, searching for the hybrid.
Bright eyes stared right back at him as he made direct eye contact with the hybrid. They were blue as the sky, something so familiar yet so pure. His eyes were red-rimmed and glassy from tears. His cheeks were red—but not from blood, it was from the beetroots he had eaten from Technoblade’s garden.

This hybrid is a child. No older than 8 if he had to guess.
The child stared back with pleading eyes, fresh tears spilling down his cheeks as he chirped desperately.
Something within Techno snapped.

Summary
Waking up with a headache was nothing new to Robert, but he hasn’t grown up to be a fan of it yet. Stretching in his plastic chair and pressing his knuckles against the area between his eyebrows eases the pain, soothing it from a sharp one to a dull, more in the background one, giving Robert a chance to stand up and feel the blood flow try it best to keep him from swaying.
The bathroom lights blind Robert for a brief second when he turns them on, regretting his choice to do so when he is greeted by his reflection in the mirror.
If Robert has issues that go above what he can, or wants to, work through by himself, will they take him down or will someone finally snap him out of it?

“Oh.” Phil says, for lack of words, because it’s been a bit of a while since he’s seen kids. Three pairs of wide eyes stare back at Phil, terror given at the bloody display before them, the fangs of his teeth bared, the red splattered over his lips, the still warm body held in his claws.
“Oh, hello.” Phil grins. The smallest one opens his mouth and screams.
(Or, Vampire!Phil is trying to get by in a zombie apocalypse with the great lack of humans. He decides to try raising his own food supply, after finding three kids. It’s definitely not adoption. No, not at all. (Well, maybe just a bit.))

Jason has a feeling this kid doesn’t remember quite as much of his experience in the pit as Jason did himself. With a sudden jolt, Jason realizes this kid might not know he’s dead.
