Summary
“What, Tubs?”
“My horns are growing in!”
And his world didn’t really crash around him, not really. It was not something earth shattering, and it was not something that he’d remember for the rest of his life, unlike many future events. But it did set a precedent for the rest of their relationship.
Tubbo, in all his faults and fumbles, would always be better than him.
(or, horns, hats, and the intricacies of getting something you’ve longed for by the one you hate most)

Summary
“The train,” Steve breathes. He sounds scared. “The train’s coming.”
“Steve, please,” Dustin whispers. He peeks his head around the corner of the washer, and the laundry room door bursts open, revealing three of the big uglies, still chattering as they prowl. Behind the other row of washers, he hears Vickie whimper and Robin comfort her in whispers Dustin can’t hear. Steve paws at him again, and Dustin tries to be brave, the way Steve has always been brave before, never trembling in the face of protecting his friends, but his voice shakes, “Please, you have to be quiet.”
“Tuh,” Steve tries. His hand goes limp and falls into his lap. “Tr—come.”
The Demos jump onto the wall of dryers in the other half of the room, and Dustin screws his eyes closed and draws Steve in closer.

Summary
There’s something wrong with Will.
It started three weeks ago, almost four. Will had woken from some sort of nightmare and, instead of seeking comfort in Mike the way he usually would, he’d rolled out a sleeping bag from the closet and chosen to sleep on the floor.
No one believes Mike, except for Joyce. But even she doesn’t understand the full extent to which something is wrong with Will.
Mike understands, though. Mike has been paying attention.

Then the power goes out — and if there’s one thing he dreads more than facing Mike, it’s the cold.

Summary
“Oh my god, I am so sorry,” the woman says, immediately dropping to her knees to gather Nancy’s notes. Something about her voice triggers some distant memory in Nancy’s mind, but she can’t quite place what it is. By the time she gathers her wits about her enough to realize she should help her gather the papers, the other woman has already gotten everything, and is standing up to hand the now-messy stack to Nancy.
Their hands brush as Nancy takes the papers from her, and then she almost drops them all over again, because she’s face to face with—
“Nancy Wheeler?” Robin Buckley blurts out, sounding just as dumbfounded as Nancy feels.
Or, it's 1993, and Nancy hasn't seen her friends from Hawkins in years, until she moves to Chicago, runs into Robin in a coffee shop, and gets swept back into their (very queer) found family
