"Are you two...are you Sakura and Sasuke's elder siblings?"
Sakura looks slightly offended, "I'm sorry kid but you've got it wrong. I am Sakura and this is Sasuke. We don't have any younger siblings."
Sasuke agrees easily, but the kid scoffs.
"Please. Those two are my teammates. I know them well. And Sasuke is only an inch or two taller than me. Sakura is my height. Are y'all their aged-up rips offs?"
Naruto dies as a Jounin.
But comes back as a genin who has no idea why two impostors are claiming to be his friends, Sakura and Sasuke.
Add to that a teary eyed Kushina and a bewildered Minato and things start to get chaotic.
Or where time travel + dimension hopping goes terribly right or terribly wrong.

Summary
All shinobi were patently insane by mere metric of choosing to be shinobi.
There were no exceptions.
(Hiruzen Sarutobi was barely functional without his smoking pot. Iruka-sensei actually wholeheartedly believed in abstractions like the Will of Fire. Kakashi-sensei had never exhibited one sane behavior in life, probably since he came out of the womb. Tsunade Senju embedded people into walls and floors for mild inconveniences. Jiraiya allowed himself to gain the moniker of “Toad Sage” and took full pride in it. Sakura was delusional enough to think Sasuke could be fixed. Shikamaru stared at clouds for a disturbingly long amount of time. The list went on and on and on—)
And they’d been ninjas for a lot of their lives. That strain of insane wiggling about in their DNA had to have quadrupled by now.
Naruto and Sasuke are stuck in a never-ending loop of reincarnations and for their sixteenth life, they decide to become florists.

Summary
If Hokageship was out of Naruto’s grasp, then he would become the richest man in Konoha, by hook or by crook. He’d see how anyone would be able to ignore him then.
And he would do it the right way.
Naruto fails out of the Academy for the third and last time, discovers his unnatural and somewhat puzzling talent at seal-making and decides to sell everything he owns to invest into a business. Namely, a shop that sells his handmade seals. If he can’t be a ninja, maybe fuuinjutsu can make him the most prosperous, most acknowledged man in Konoha anyway.
___Or Naruto, at the ripe age of twelve, becomes a fruitful entrepreneur while everyone watches (with awe or with envy) because who the hell is ballsy enough to try and stop him?

Summary
Tobirama slowly lifted the blanket back up, revealing the child to have neither magically dissapeared, nor spontaneously started making sense in the time he'd spent wishing them to.
Slight correction to his earlier statment; There was a small, unfamiliar Hatake child laying in Tobirama's bed.
Or, 6 year old Kakashi gets zapped back to the warring states. Tobirama picks him up by the scruff and immediatley invokes finders keepers rules
