nothing had ever differed for kageyama; all she had ever known was complete desolation. it seemed like no one wanted to be around her, and she felt loneliness sit on her shoulders at all times. and then she started high school, a short girl with a smile the size of jupiter and hair the colour of a clementine skipping into her life and breaking through her hard exterior. hinata made her feel less lonely, but kageyama still found herself yearning for more in their friendship, her soul quickly becoming devoted entirely to hinata. she had to choose between sitting by while her heart withered away and settling for unrequited love or decide to profess her feelings and potentially be rejected.
