Dream allowed himself a moment more, resting his hand against Hob’s forehead. Finally, through the tears, Hob’s eyes began to slow in their frenzied movement and his breath calmed in his chest. He blinked slowly before his eyes passed over to Dream’s and recognition slowly overtook them. Despite the worry in his chest, Morpheus smiled and moved his hand down Hob’s cheek.
