Astarion still liked her even after he found out about the Urge. He still likes her, now, even as he sits just far enough away from her that their shoulders aren’t quite touching.
The thing is that Lenore loves him. Lenore loves Astarion more than she imagines she has ever loved anything, ever, past life of missing memories be damned. And it doesn’t matter if she wants to curl up against him. She doesn’t want to make him uncomfortable—it’s not something he wants, he’d said—and her own hands are too stained with blood for her to even try.
She’ll take it in stride. She’ll only touch him when he initiates it, and even then she will hold her breath until it’s gone.
She loves him, is the thing. She’s not going to do that to him.
