Summary
Shinsou Hitoshi likes his job. People call him a 'vigilante for hire', it makes him money and allows him to take down the scum in the world, so yeah, you could call him a fan of his job. However, after a run-in with a hero, he is officially classed as wanted - and a villain. He ends up finding new work, but when the hero who broke his ankle shows up, things start to get a bit more complicated.

I read way too many sleepy bois inc vigilante/intern au's in 2022 and I love these guys as family - takes part between Kamino and Chisaki - they will end up as found family I swear eventually I just love slow burn and trauma recovery (I am also a depressed uni student with no time on their hands)

Eijiro thought he had felt his heart beat before, thought he knew how it was to have a crush and be “in love” with a boy. He came into UA with that in mind, moving on from the heartbreak that was a failed middle school crush. Trying to move on from the fear that he’d never be who he wanted to be.
He sat down at his desk at UA with a smile, hoping to hide who he was. Who he still is. Thinking that maybe, with this new determination, he’d get to where he wanted to be. That he’d be up to par and maybe prove himself to everyone who thought he wasn’t worthy.

Neito’s voice feels so far away even though Hitoshi can see him right in front of his face, “Hitoshi? Hello? Are you okay? What was that call?”
Hitoshi tries to open his mouth to speak but no words manage to come out, it feels almost like his tongue is paralyzed or- Did he forget how to use it? He doesn’t know how to speak right now and he doesn’t know how to process the information he was just given.
His phone falls out of his hand heading for the floor but Neito catches it and shoves it into a pocket or maybe onto a table, Hitoshi isn't quite sure but he feels as Neito places a hand on his shoulder. It grounds him, he feels himself come back a little bit, Neito’s voice sounds more clear now, “Hitoshi?”
“He’s-” Hitoshi whispers, looking up and making eye contact with Neito, “He’s at the hospital, Neito. He’s alive."

OR, Shinsou Hitoshi's fiance, Kaminari Denki, goes missing - presumed dead - and, for years, he can't do anything but hope for him to come back but, when he does eight years later, Shinsou's already in another relationship.
Where do they all go from there?
