He means to turn away after that, let Batman leave his apartment on his own without so much as a word, but when his arm begins to lift, Dick can’t help but watch.
Watch as Batman pulls back the cowl. Watch as Bruce’s face is revealed, grey and sunken and wrong, all wrong, sickly without the flush of fever. His eyes are like fogged glass- he’s reminded, viscerally, of the fresh fish Alfred would have in the kitchen, right before preparing them for dinner.
(Dick has hallucinations. He should probably tell someone.)

Summary
When Jason was Robin, he only saw Dick Grayson as the perfect asshole who put all the other sidekicks to shame, the golden boy who could do no wrong. And then he came back, and he was so broken that Dick, the Bat’s chosen heir, seemed mockingly whole in comparison. But now he’s an adult, with his own team and operations and purpose, and Dick isn’t the untouchable idol, too high for him to reach and too good for him to tarnish. Dick is a teenager getting drunk alone in a bar—which makes Jason the stable one.
Which is an unsettling a realization as Jason’s ever had.

Damian Wayne is the only biological son of the world’s greatest detective.
So how is it that he hasn’t even noticed how much of his brother is gone?
Aka, Dick returns home three weeks after Slade takes him in an attempt to make him the perfect soldier. He claims he’s fine. He's home now, isn't he? But when little fragments slip out, small slices of Dick’s broken heart, his brothers realize that sometimes, people just shatter and the pieces just can't all be picked back up.
