Summary
“Careful, careful!” Eddie breathes into her mouth as they fall backwards against Stevie’s bed. She laughs, fingers frantically grasping at his shirt as she tries – and fails – to rip it over his head and kiss him at the same time. “See,” he gasps, moving out of her reach and doing it himself, “this is how I end up without any shirts to wear.”
“You’re not going to hear me complain about that,” is Stevie’s quick reply, and she barely has time to spot the sparkle in his eyes and the smirk at the corner of his lips before he’s leaping back on top of her, swallowing her giggles up with his eager kisses.
Or, on being desperately in love.

“Name?”
The nurse looks at him, green eyes equal parts kind and discerning.
“Steve,” he replies quickly, before he can second guess himself. He’s hoping against all hope that this nurse won’t know him on sight—and won’t know Eddie, either. A flash of the haunted look in Eddie’s brown eyes, the memory of the broken bottle against his neck, dispels any lingering doubts about Steve’s decision to lie.
“His name is Steve Harrington.”Or, a post-s4 finale, whumpy tale, where Eddie lives, Steve tells a lie, and the Party discovers there’s more to their favorite babysitter than they previously thought. Oh, and Steve and Eddie totally have a crush on one another. (We'll get there.)

“Harrington,” he croaks - god why, why do I have to sound like that in front of him - he clears his throat, continuing, “you couldn’t have done me a favour and let me die in that shithole, spare me from Dustin?”
Steve finally turns to look at him, grinning madly. Fuck, Eddie thinks, fuck this is so unfair. You’re just standing there looking at me like that, smiling, all broad and pretty and scarred up, fuuuck.

“Robin..!” he breathes, eyes wide. The toilet seat seems comforting so he drops down on it pulling his legs up to sit crossed legged. “I am freaking out, Robin!”
“I just saw Eddie in his outfit and his – fangs. And I kind of want him to bury them in my neck till it bleeds while he pushes me into a wall.. or something.” He's terrified. And turned on. Terrifyingly turned on.

Steve got Good boy inscribed on his butt, just on the right cheek.
It would be funny if it was a tattoo Steve had gotten one time when he was too drunk and on a dare.
Except it wasn't a tattoo. At all. Even though it kind of looked like one.
In truth, it was the first word his soulmate would say to him.
Or, a meet-sexy story where Steve's soulmate is a man of culture.

Summary
Eddie crushed the barista's look, Steve decided. He was spotted in a black crewneck and matching jeans, the maroon apron with his name pin on it somehow accentuated his toned biceps and broad shoulders. He had big button eyes, Steve obsessively noted, they were dark brown like the coffee beans and brightened with recognition at the sight of him.
"Hey," Eddie said, plump lips curved up in a lazy smile. "Mind telling me your secret potion, pretty?"
Steve let out a squeak and felt his cheeks burn terribly.

He was a pretty thing, covered in moles as though he had been born with the galaxy at the tip of his fingers, holding the universe's secrets in his hands. A little star shone brightly in the darkness. Under the dim colorful lights, his hazel eyes looked like candies. Sweet. Tart. Flavorful.

Steve Harrington didn’t get flustered on the job, like, ever.

Summary
(Steddie Bigbang #177)
Listen. Steve Harrington knew that he had some sins to pay for, okay? He was kind of a stuck-up shit for most of high school and while he didn’t go out of his way to, like, ruin anybody’s day – cough, cough, Tommy Hagan – he also didn’t really reach out to anyone who needed help either. But he’s done the work to be better! Granted, a lot of the work consisted of him getting beaten up and/or tortured by other people while protecting a group of unthankful little shitheads, but it’s still progress. And, not to brag, but he got Robin Buckley as a best friend out of the whole thing, so really, Steve Harrington’s not doing so bad on the whole “redemption” thing, thank you. So why, why does the universe continue to torment him?
(Or, in the fall of 1985, Steve Harrington joins Hellfire and everything changes.)

Summary
Eddie starts talking before he opens the door enough to see Max, rubbing at his eyes. “Did you forget something, Stevie-” He pauses when he finally sees Max, whose eyebrows are knit together in a frown. Stevie? She’s only ever heard Eddie call Steve by his last name or by some mocking title before. “Oh. Hey Red, I thought- I thought you were someone else,” he tacks on with an awkward laugh, a hand hanging from his neck.
Max studies him for a moment. He’s in boxers and a shirt that could very well be the same one that Steve was wearing, equally slept in. They both must’ve woken up recently- Eddie’s hair is even more of a mess than Steve’s was.
“Who? Steve?” She asks, and Eddie makes a noncommittal sound. “Nah, he left already.”
Eddie bites his lip. “You- you saw him?”
“I was fixing my skateboard outside when he came out.” She narrows her eyes at him. “Wearing your shirt.”
“Um.”

Summary
“Hey, Eddie?”
“Yeah?”
“Truth or dare?”
Eddie raises an eyebrow at him. “Really?”
Steve shrugs, wrapping his arms around his knees, his legs crossed at the ankles. “Yeah. I mean. We were having fun before the girls ditched us.”
“Fair enough,” Eddie snorts. “Dare, obviously.”
Steve grins in a way that makes Eddie think he was hoping for that to be his answer. Like he already has a dare in mind.
Turns out, he does.
“I dare you to do a body shot off me,” Steve says, casual as ever.
or Eddie’s never done a body shot. Steve dares him to do one off him.

Summary
He lets the guy drag him to the dancefloor, lets him put his hands on his waist after guiding Steve’s arms so they wrap around his neck. They’re pushed against each other by the people moving around them, and Steve’s stomach flip-flops again when their chests and hips press together.
Maybe his plan was a good idea. This does clear some things up.
Turns out Steve is into guys. Huh.
He’s definitely into dancing with someone as tall as he is, and he’s into big hands gripping his waist and the scratch of stubble when they move closer and their cheeks press together.
He’d probably be into kissing this guy, grinding against him, dragging him back to his car for more–
Or at least he would if his mind didn’t keep drifting to someone else– the reason why, after years of blissfully ignoring this part of himself, Steve finally decided to explore it.
Eddie. And Steve’s now confirmed crush on him.

Summary
“Here, try this,” Steve says, snapping Eddie out of his spiral. He holds the spoon in front of Eddie’s lips for him to taste it in a move that’s become familiar since they moved in together. Eddie leans forward and takes it into his mouth.
Then he lets out a moan.
“Fuck, Steve,” he says, watching Steve’s cheeks go pink, either at the praise or the familiar obscene sound. “That’s so good, oh my God.”
Steve ducks his head, smiling. “Yeah?”
“Mhm,” Eddie hums, licking his lips. “I’d marry you for that alone.”
It’s hardly the first time Eddie has said that, but Steve’s reaction is the same as always. His cheeks pink up even more and a pleased bashful smile stretches over his lips. He puts the spoon in the sink and covers the saucepan to let the chili simmer before he stands between Eddie’s legs.
“You keep saying that, but I’ve yet to see the ring.”
