Nobara snapped her fingers as loudly as she could in front of his face, and he looked up. She angrily mouthed what the hell do you think you’re doing you motherfucking slacker I can’t believe you’re holding up the line to giggle and lie out of your ass please tell me that’s your professor or something that you’re mooching for a good grade because this cannot possibly be worth Getou’s passive-aggressive wrath, but it was apparently mouthed too quickly for Yuuji to understand, because he only blinked blankly at her.
“Stop yapping,” she stage-whispered. She was fully aware that there wasn’t a line being held up by this customer, but she did not care. She refused for Yuuji to find happiness before she did.

“What is the end goal here?” Megumi shouted over the chaos.
“Hit people with food, obviously,” Nobara said. She was then hit in the side with a handful of chicken nuggets, courtesy of Todo.
“But, like, when you’re hit, are you out?”
“You’re out when you’re out.”
“Is that supposed to mean something?”
Nobara nodded solemnly. “You’ll know when you’re out.”
They both turned just in time to see Yuuji wind up before chucking a Dorito Loco at Todo. Todo pulled off an impressive windmill kick, hitting it out of the way and firing back immediately with a Quarter Pounder. Yuuji punched through it effortlessly, bits of meat peppering his clothes. Nobara heard Megumi audibly gulp.
In all honesty, a food fight with participants who were, at the very least, old enough to vote was stupid as fuck. But if Yuuji and Todo were leading the opposing sides, shit got interesting.
FOOD FIGHT!!! everyone is alive, everyone is gay, everyone is happy, and everyone is a massive idiot. what more could you possibly need?

Fushiguro Megumi is blusing, because he is being flirted with by Spider-Man. Yuuji briefly wonders if feeling jealous of himself is a symptom of schizophrenia. It probably is.

Megumi squints at him. "Are you having a stroke?"
