Summary
When Zuko stands at his crossroads beneath Ba Sing Se, he makes a different choice.
The decision costs him everything.
Captured by Azula to buy Katara and Aang time to escape, Zuko vanishes into the Fire Nation’s most feared prison: the Boiling Rock. The world believes him dead. Maybe that would have been easier.
But Katara cannot forget what he did for her in the crystal catacombs—the boy who chose her over his own destiny, over his family, over home itself. As the war spirals closer toward catastrophe, she becomes determined to find him, no matter the cost.
What begins as a rescue mission slowly becomes something far more dangerous.
Because the closer Katara gets to the truth of what Zuko sacrificed, the harder it becomes to pretend this is only about repaying a debt.

Hundreds of metres below them a large orb pulses with faint blue light in the rhythm of a heartbeat, the orb and all it contains slumber deep beneath the waves just as they have for the last ninety-eight years and just as they shall for many years to come. The wheel turns, the world spins on its axle, the winds shift as the tides swell and the sun sets on a world without an Avatar.
With the last Airbender still missing, the lives of a Waterbender, an exiled Prince and a great Warrior continue on in his absence.

Zuko was everywhere, from the Northern Air Temple to the Ba Sing Se where he fought against many enemies. But he was not alone — he met a fellow royal, Yue, banished from her Tribe because she wanted for the women to be taught combative waterbending. Summary
Letting things go is a part of growing up, whether its an obeject or people we love, its hard especially if you are the avatar of a healing war torn world. aang always had trouble with letting go of things but he learns the hard way that sometimes when you love someone you have to let them go, whether you like it or not. Katara tries to find herself after the war while dealing darkness and ends up finding peace where she least expected it. Zuko is trying his best to fix his mess of a country while dealing with feelings for a certain water bender and dealing with his own demons.

Summary
Ursa may have been a lot of things, but she was not a naive woman. On the contrary, she noticed lots of details that people usually missed. Rubbing hands, discreet glances, strained smiles. So many gestures could be the tell for a lie. This was a particularly useful skill in the Fire Nation palace: it made her hard to manipulate. Her mind was a locked room to which the key was well protected. Unfortunately, that skill was not useful in protecting others from manipulation. That meant, when Ozai started pitting their children against each other, Ursa noticed, but didn’t know what to do.
____________Ursa cares more about Azula. She tries to distance her from her father’s manipulations. That changes some things.

But to ensure the temporary peace, to ensure that neither side went back on their word…the Fire Nation demanded an exchange of high-value prisoners.

The semantics made no difference to Hakoda. It still meant his son would spend his next seven years in the Fire Nation.

A treaty between the Fire Nation and the Southern Water Tribe sends Sokka to Caldera and Azula to Wolf Cove, where they grow up as wards. Culture shock and chaos ensues, but the peace agreement holds.

The haunting loneliness no longer subsides by Katara's side in Republic City, nor with the non-benders at the Air temples, not like it always had. Every waking moment Aang can spare, he is remapping lost Airbender settlements and recuperating ancient relics. Each time foolishly hoping it will be enough to fill the gaping maw in soul.
In recent years, he travels to the Fire Nation after each bad trip instead of Yu Dao. As a world leader, one also intrinsically tied to the genocide of his people, Aang feels Zuko is only peer he has that can understand his crushing obligations, especially towards the restoration of the Air nation.
The Gaang grow worried about Aang's increasingly desperate obsession, none more so than Katara. It unsettles a deep fear of what it means for their hollowing relationship and for the world. When Aang finds one of the last remnants of his people, her fear only cements deeper.
