Summary
When Roxanne started collage she hadn’t expected to end it with her getting married and moving into her new partner’s place. Roxanne had expected to get a degree, spend her twenties dating around, figuring herself out and get a meaningful job – preferably as a reporter travelling the world; infiltrating war-ridden places of the globe and exposing dictatorships and human right violations and maybe, one day, winning a Pulitzer Prize for her troubles.
But of course, when Roxanne started collage Earth knew nothing about the Glaupunkt-quadrant. So when she ends collage, she's set to marry into a traditional three-way of the Glau. Good thing Roxanne has other plans.

Summary
In the nineteen twenties, when the tier-system was first coined, s-tier was theoretical. It was used with the same basis as divine intervention. S-tier was God, the big bang, life and death. No one had ever anticipated s-tier to exist. And then, along came Alex, and all those hypothetical theses about how s-tier would bring the end of the world were suddenly not hypothetical anymore.
Curious, Morgan had read up a little. They couldn’t see what the harm in it was. S-tier, the destroyer of worlds, wouldn’t be interested in a d-tier villain snooping around a little.
That was of course before they knew Alex because Alex; they appeared one day, right in Morgan’s shitty apartment, and asked, quite politely, what the absolute fuck a d-tier, petty criminal like Morgan was snooping around them for. And Morgan said it was professional curiosity, and Alex took one look around the room and asked, bitch, you live like this?
Anyway, that was the start of a beautiful friendship. Alex helped Morgan for heists, morphed themselves into a cat just because Morgan had asked them to, and Morgan realized that s-tier, destroyer of worlds, was a softie.

Summary
“I guess we need to talk,” Della says, hesitantly, from the doorway. Donald looks away from the kids playing just outside, and his stomach clenches.
They do need to talk. The moon-invasion is over, their family is safe, Donald and Della have screamed insults at each other and made up, but they have yet to talk. Actually talk.
About the spear. About Della abandoning him. Leaving him to raise three kids he was in no way prepared either emotionally or financially to care for. Talk about how Della got lost on the moon for ten years, alone and terrified, cut off from the rest of their family. Away from him, and the kids, and Scrooge… the silence that has been building up between them falls as clumsily as Della’s metal foot in Earth’s gravity. The foot she had to amputate herself in order to survive.
They've yet to talk about Donald's own stunt on the moon, or the island. But how do they even begin to talk about years of trauma and heartache?

Summary
The monster gnawing at the rabbit’s body feeds and devours like the greediest creature. In our world, monsters shouldn’t be real, but with the unluckiness of the rabbit, he shouldn’t be either. The rabbit knows where he is—the monster has let him know that much—and he knows he tastes good, so there, in that mind, he will stay.

“Now… as for why I called you here,” Henry says, turning slightly, attention shifting back to business.
William raises an eyebrow. “It wasn’t for sex?” he asks, almost offended.
Henry’s lips curve faintly. “Not only.”
William exhales through his nose, folding his arms. “Alright. What is it?”
“I have a job for you.”

Summary
Will spotted a strange rock on the grass, just a few feet away from him. It glowed in currents of misty red smokes, so beautiful and inviting. Yet, no one seemed to notice its presence. No one else but him.
The reddish glow on the rock circulated his wrist before the plasma-like content inside it burst open the shell and shot through the air, engulfing his whole body.
—
Before Will could come out to his mother, by the dumb time-traveling science of a seemingly exotic rock, he stumbled in the distant past whereby Hawkins was still a peaceful, quiet town. Whereby chaos just began to stir. Whereby Henry Creel was just another high school freshman who held only a few secrets short of his odd staring problem and his weird obsession with a certain AV kid.

Summary
“Hey."
The boy turns to face him.
His eyes are even more beautiful up close. Clear, blue skies. The clearest Caribbean waters. The knot between his eyebrows fades, until he’s left there, standing and staring at Will uneasily.
He looks around, like he’s trying to figure out if Will is speaking to him, despite the two of them being the only ones in the stairwell.
Will didn't think he'd get this far.
Or, the Zombie Boy and the Theatre Freak have quite a bit in common.
