Summary
Chad can’t say for sure, but the first seeds must have been placed during Shroud’s showdown.
Robert’s bravery is what undid him. Slowly.
Robert is not his type anyway, he thinks. He did something heroic, no shit, but Robert’s always been a hero, someone people look up to when everything goes to shit.
It’s just Robert.
Yet the signs are all there.Series

Summary
Mecha Man falls, but the Phoenix program never existed to catch him.
Without friends or the mech suit, Robert Robertson is desperate and reduced to his last options when one of Shroud’s lieutenants hunts him down in his apartment…one whose strange augments give him an idea.
Robert is done with the high road. He’s ready to do what he has to do to take his city back.
*
“If he dies, he dies,” Shroud said slowly. “If he survives…then Mecha Man can watch his city burn. Without the astral pulse, that suit is worthless. I don’t care about him.”
The astral pulse.
If Chad could find it, then it could be the solution to his problems. If he could find it, he could fix everything.

Summary
“With all due respect, Masters… I do not think this is a good idea.”
The Jedi Council turned to look amongst each other, a mixture of annoyance and confusion on their faces. For a long few minutes, nobody said anything, and Anakin started to wonder if the conversation was over. If, for the first time, the Council was willing to simply listen to him and trust his judgement.
Of course, that wasn’t quite the case.

Summary
Robert Robertson was a shadowed man. It usually wasn't intentional, he simply played the best hand he could with the cards he was given; But once, it was very different. Before the shitty apartment, back home, in a nicely lit house. One that was never truly quiet, that's now barren walls once echoed with the sounds of children's laughter and the smell of homecooked meals... But that was the past, and he had to put it behind him, even if it kept him awake at night. Perhaps, a certain Fire-y hero could help him with his grief? As well as some more friends along the way to real recovery.
OR: Robert was once married to a man, with two adoptive children. When all three of those people die, he was let with barely anything. After spending years in grief, he finally got revenge on Shroud, the killer of them all. At least, thats what he thought, until Shroud escaped prison. With all of the chaos that's going on, he cannot recover alone. Flambae (alongside Chase and the Z-Team) are here to help.
