Summary
There were two universal truths for college students that Langa had come to realize during his first semester: ‘8 AMs’ were a product of Satan himself and coffee (or any other form of caffeine, really) was man’s true best friend.
So it came as no surprise that he stopped by the coffee shop every Monday morning before class and when he needed a pick-me-up. Whether the mood boost was due to the caffeine or the barista who was like sunshine incarnate and always spelled his name wrong on his cup, that was becoming harder to tell with every visit.
Or, in an attempt to flirt, barista Reki spells Langa's name on his drinks in the most ridiculous ways possible, and it goes completely over Langa's head.

The next random lobby voice was low, smooth, and like liquid gold. "Hey guys, let's have a good game."
"Oh. My. God." Reki swooned. Metaphorically and literally. The voice scratched an itch in his brain. It warmed his cheeks and other places. It made his heart beat quicken. The sexiest voice he'd ever heard. "His voice.. Chat help. This is why I'm gay."
There was an audible clearing of a throat. A light cough, not quite an ahem, but definitely an attention grab. "You think I have a nice voice?"
"Uhhhh-" Reki squeaked out some sort of flustered noise as his eyes flew across his screen from chat to his in-game audio status. Yup, that was unmuted. The next sound was even more high pitched. "Yep!"
He furiously clicked the mute button as his face felt like the inside of a volcano and of course, of course, chat and Miya heard that. He ignored his friend's laughter ringing through discord and paid no mind to the millions of blushing Rekis filling his chat box, because nice voice a.k.a. snowybigfoot was talking again.

Summary
Reki was a huge fan of Olympian snowboarder turned professional skater Langa Hasegawa. He kept every single interview he's ever given, watched every clip of him and even bought his merch. It was admiration, not a crush, as much as his friend Miya liked to tease him about it being the latter.
Langa was a huge fan of a cute redheaded skateboarder that had a very informative channel, with tutorials that inspired him to start skating. He watched every live stream and every video he'd ever posted. Langa especially liked his other, much more popular trendy account, once he found out about it. He definitely had a crush on Reki, too bad he was probably straight and had a girlfriend.
Dream come true for the both of them when they get invited on a world skateboarding tour to promote a new game called W0RLDSK8 where Langa and Joe are featured as playable characters. Reki may not measure up to Langa's impressive heights exactly but he had his own things going for him. Langa wanted Reki, but it seemed like everyone did.
