Summary

“Beats me,” Tomura said with a shrug as he lounged on the couch playing his DS, swatting his best friend’s hand away.
“Tomura, it's been seven years. Why does my family want to connect with me now? It's not like I sent them a text or a letter saying ‘Hello family and abusive father I would love it if you let me back into your lives’,” Dabi mocked, steadily pacing the floor.

After years of living in the streets as a teen, Dabi's life had finally stabilized itself in his early twenties. He lived in a studio apartment, had a satysfying job as a piercer, and managed to distance himself from his parents while staying in touch with his siblings.
His life might turn out even better when he meets a cute volleyball player called Hawks. Chasing after one another is a nice addition to Dabi's newfound routine.
It would be a little problematic if Dabi's family turmoils came back to bite him with his youngest brother showing up at his door one day, asking for shelter.Dabi will have to manage his new connection with Hawks while trying his best to protect Shoto.

There was a resulting commotion as everyone got onto their phones to check the news. Endeavor's face was plastered across every news site in Japan and Shouto decidedly looked up at the ceiling. He didn't want to see his ugly face if he didn't have to. Once everyone had seen the news, even more chaos ensued as everyone panicked. And then, as if suddenly remembering Shouto was Endeavor's son, they all turned to look at him in horror.
“What?” Shouto asked “I was already informed.”
As if that was what everyone was concerned about.
Or
Dabi kills Endeavor and this is the consequence.

Questions such as: what the fuck was Dabi thinking, taking his intern out so late at night? But also: what the fuck is Dabi doing hanging out with his intern at all? And: what the hell is Shouto doing hanging around the man who tried to murder his dad on national television?
And, most importantly: why does Dabi seem to care so much about Endeavour's son?
