Now, two years later, Harry is in his third year, his friends are having the time of their lives in Hogsmeade, there's an escaped mass murderer running around, and Harry is going stir-crazy. Summary
Harry Potter is taken from the Dursleys doorstep, by Minerva McGonagall to Ireland to grow up away from the limelight, and the meddlesome interest of an old man with far too high an opinion of himself. Once Dumbledore finally retires, he comes to Hogwarts to start his NEWT studies. He meets another newcomer on the train, a muggleborn girl who was sent to France after her first burst of accidental magic. Where she lived with her relatives, that had some magic themselves. She transferred from Beauxbatons, to study Transfiguration and Charms at Hogwarts, subjects in which it still has a high reputation. She is intrigued by the charming Irish boy she meets on the train, and his rather weird ‘sister.’
