Summary
On the anniversary of Bloodsong of Wycaro’s release, the hivemind throws Carol a surprise party, which does absolutely nothing to make her happy. But when Zosia shows up dressed as Raban, the seductive pirate from her own book, Carol discovers there’s only so much she can do to deny the pull she feels toward the woman who fights to keep her individuality even while connected to the collective mind.
or, carol is needy, zosia is dressed like a pirate and tequila makes everything a lot more interesting.
