Peter forgets things. Well, more accurately, Peter forgets important things. He remembers stupid, useless things, but important things, like allergies? No. Peter can't remember important things to save his life. Which is why when James messaged him on Monday, asking for him to bring a lemon pound cake to their usual weekend get-together, Peter didn't question it.

Peter forgets James has a food allergy and bakes him a lemon pound cake. Some chaos ensues, but Regulus and Sirius gets them back on track and they end up having a good night. And Remus, Evan, and Barty help make sure it doesn't happen again, mostly because Sirius's solution was hexing him and Regulus's was killing him.Series

One day, Sirius brings home a Muggle astronomy book. They spend the whole day under a tree in their garden thumbing through the pages and learning new things about the same stars they'd been told about their entire lives.
It was a perfectly good day, but that night the sky released what felt like unending rain and constant lightning—accompanied by loud thunder. And Regulus has always been scared when the sky opens up—scared it will swallow him whole if Sirius isn't there to protect him.
