Summary
The cruelest thing about the Nameless was that they made it so easy to pretend that Sunday belonged. They fed that greedy, stupid, childish thing that cried out from within him, tossing enough scraps of amity for him to piece them together into something that felt like home. The curtains only closed when Sunday lay awake at night and stared at the ceiling of the bedroom that wasn’t really his, and he remembered that it started like this and could only end like this: with him, alone in the dark.
Sunday is found by the Astral Express Crew after fleeing Penacony. He accepts their offer to join, and realizes that
a. fitting into this tight-knit group is likely impossible
b. trouble finds the Trailblazers no matter where they go.or, the chronicle of the Astral Express trying, failing, and trying again to fit Sunday into their family.

Summary
Varka's mouth curves slightly. His finger traces another slow circle against the glass, deliberate now, no pretense left in it. The flame trembles under the motion.
“I won’t lie,” he says, voice low, easy in a way that isn’t entirely innocent anymore, “I have a lot of questions. I thought this was me showing restraint.”
“Restraint,” Flins repeats, unbelieving – but there’s a strain threading through it now, subtle, tightening. “If that’s what you call it.”
Varka’s thumb drifts higher along the curve, unhurried, testing the reaction again, watching it closely. “And what would unrestrained look like?”Varka and Flins are supposed to be watching for the Wild Hunt. Instead, they watch each other.

Summary
Kaeya had been living with the Ragnvindrs for a little over a year now. Diluc and Master Crepus had truly begun to feel like family to him, and any fears he had about being shunned and abandoned in the past were slowly fading away.

Varka lets out a laugh and starts rummaging around. He pulls out a huge bottle of Fire-Water. "Well, then, since I don't have to explain myself, let's have a drink together? To celebrate our friendship." He raises the bottle invitingly toward Flins. "I'll tell you this story since you're so curious."
Flins comes closer and replies with a smile, “With great pleasure, my friend.”
