Summary
After Bobby’s death, Eddie finds himself drowning in what-ifs—the moments he let slip past him, the words he never said, and the feelings he kept locked away for far too long. In the quiet that grief leaves behind, those what-ifs turn into echoes, haunting him with the choices he didn’t make and the futures he never allowed himself to imagine. Losing Bobby sharpens everything: how fragile life is, how quickly it can change, and how little time any of them really have. Eddie can’t hide from the truth in his own heart anymore. Some feelings deserve to see the light… and some chances only come once.

Summary
The universe has a taste for mischief and misplaced travelers. When a man who calls himself the Doctor falls out of the sky and lands on a sand-scorched world, SG-1 expects problems—alien tech, rogue Goa’uld, maybe a buried artifact or two. They do not expect someone who hears the Stargate hum like a memory, or a man whose past feels older than the dunes beneath their boots.
When a robed figure steps through the Gate speaking a language that settles uncomfortably into the mind, the Doctor’s cheerful façade fractures, revealing something ancient, exhausted, and far too familiar with the technology SG-1 thought they understood.
As the team tries to unravel who this stranger is and why the Gate answered him, the Doctor is forced to confront echoes of a life he left behind. A confrontation in the desert becomes the spark that pulls SG-1 into a larger, far older conflict—one that refuses to stay buried.
A story of improbable allies, buried histories, strange harmonics, and the truth no one is prepared to face.

Summary
Five years after the Halsteads found their balance between Intelligence and family life, Chicago has changed — and so have they.
Detectives Jay and Alex Halstead have built a life filled with love, chaos, and purpose. Their twins, Katherine and Bethany, are now nine and determined to take on the world their parents protect, while little Oliver is already practicing his “detective voice.” But peace in Chicago never lasts.
When a string of arsons and robberies begins to hit too close to home — including a victim from the twins’ school — the Intelligence Unit is pulled into one of their most dangerous investigations yet. As the case deepens, familiar faces from Firehouse 51 and Chicago Med find themselves entangled in a citywide web of crime, corruption, and family stakes that blur the line between duty and survival.
Meanwhile, life keeps moving — Kim and Adam juggle parenthood and police work, Erin and Kelly prepare to welcome their first child, Kevin and Rachel navigate marriage under pressure, and Will and Natalie fight to hold family and medicine together.
For Jay and Alex, it’s not just another case. It’s a test of everything they’ve built — and how far they’re willing to go to protect it.

Summary
Buck shoveled another handful of popcorn into his mouth, barely looking away. “What’s dumb?” he asked, voice muffled with food.
Heat crept up Eddie’s neck. Talking openly about sex wasn’t exactly in his comfort zone. “You don’t just— become gay because you grind on some guy,” he said, cheeks now definitely pink. “Sexuality doesn’t work like that. You can’t get hard if you’re straight. It’s ridiculous.”
***
So Buck decides to prove Eddie that he’s wrong.

Summary
Buck accidentally serves Eddie with divorce papers.
Eddie was standing in the living room, phone clenched in his hand. He didn’t yell. Not yet. He held the phone up, screen glowing, and said very clearly, “Why am I getting divorce papers?”
Buck froze. His smile vanished, eyes widening as recognition hit all at once. His brain scrambled, pieces clicking together too late. “Oh,” Buck said. “It really was that easy?”
Eddie’s jaw tightened.
Buck took a step forward automatically, hands lifting like he could calm this with his body alone. “Okay, so, hear me out—”

Summary
Buck’s phone buzzes again and he checks it and winces.
“if you’re with someone else, just say it but i know you still love me.”“Oh come on!”
Buck practically yells.
Eddie walks behind Buck angrily just in time to see the message.
Without a warning he snatches the phone right out of Buck’s hand.“Eddie!”
Buck yells lunging up from the couch
“Give it back!”
But Eddie’s already typing with his knuckles are white.
“If this guy doesn’t understand boundaries, then he can deal with me.”
“Eddie seriou-“
“No”
Eddie shoots him a look.
“You shouldn’t have to deal with this crap. He doesn’t get to haunt you like this.”
He finishes typing and tosses the phone back.
Buck stares at the screen.
“This is Eddie I said leave Buck alone dude. Don’t text him again.”Buck blinks as he reads the text
“Well that’s..direct”

Summary
“You don’t have to,” Buck says quickly. “You could just leave it. Don’t look.”
Eddie glances up at him, and they both know without saying it that he isn’t going to let this go.
There’s no way he can look away now, not after seeing the way Buck reacted.
“Or maybe just not now,” Buck says softly, stepping closer, his hand settling gently over the screen like he can shield Eddie from what’s on it. “Maybe leave it for now. You’re not… Eddie, you’re not doing well right now. I’ve been so worried about you and this—” his voice catches, “—you… Eddie, please don’t. Just leave it.”
It stings to hear the worry out loud, even if he knew it was there.
He wants to do what Buck says, he wants to trust his friend and give him what he’s asking.
Buck never asks for anything.
Eddie moves Buck’s hand aside gently, giving it a brief squeeze. “Can’t do that, Buck.”
Or; After Christopher leaves for El Paso, Buck decides that he and Eddie should trace their family trees to keep Eddie’s mind occupied elsewhere. The results lead Eddie to face a family secret.

Summary
Eddie is in love with his best friend.
But not in, like, a romantic way. Because Eddie is straight. He used to be married to Shannon. He has a son. He’s had sex with women, and he usually enjoyed it. Was it ever the crazy, mind-blowing experience he’s heard other people describe? No. But he’s pretty sure those people are exaggerating anyway.
The point is, what he feels for Buck is completely different from anything he felt for Shannon or Ana or Marisol. And if what he felt for them was romantic, that obviously means his feelings for Buck are platonic. It’s just an added bonus that Buck is nice to look at, with his broad shoulders and brawny arms and eyes that sparkle when he smiles.Buck is still living on Eddie’s couch, and it’s been great — really great. But Buck is still talking about moving out, and he can’t let that happen. If there’s a limit to what he’ll do to keep Buck under his roof, Eddie hasn’t found it yet.
