Or: Shortly after they arrive, Harry meets Wikhn, who is courting Dahlia, and she is courting Shayla. The whole public soulcry happens, and they all get their shit together, so Wik ends up bonded to another circle and Harry with an unacknowledged soulbond. And at first he doesn’t do anything respecting that Wikhn is bonded, but his soul bond never gets sealed, and after years of seeing how they treat him, he decides to at least try to do something. After all, it is better to try and fail than not try at all.

Summary

The Riddler halts. Pauses.
“What the fuck, dude?” He finally exclaims, breaking all melodramatic pretenses and slamming his hands down on the table, “Either listen to the goddamn riddle or let me kill you so we can get this exchange over with!”
Peter nods, “Sorry, sorry, my bad on that one. I finally remembered the word I was thinking of. Here, let’s make a deal this time - cross my heart I’ll keep it - so if I can’t solve your riddle you get to…” Peter gestures, leaving it open ended, and the Riddler seems to perk up.
“Kill you in a blaze of glory,” he finishes, primly, and the melodrama returns as he crosses his legs and re-steeples his hands, “And if you win? I must be fair, after all.”
“Uhh… would you mind telling me where I am?”
OR
Peter's greatest enemy is time management and also maybe the hoard of superheroes that are crawling all over Gotham.
(The Amazing Spider-Man version of Peter Parker - don't have to watch the movies to understand, but there are references to the films.)

Does Red Hood's aura remind him of something he’d rather not think about, yes. Is he going to ask the guy about it… to be determined, or not since the vigilante decides to pull an UNO reverse card on him and starts asking Danny a bunch of questions instead of the other way around. Danny hates his luck.
Jason was just trying to look out for the kid, he didn’t ask for the existential crisis, the uncovering of a government plot, or the possibility of curing the pit madness. Ok, he does like the sound of that last one, but the other two he could do without.
Dick is just very confused moral support, who’s moral support? Your guess is as good as his.
Tim just wants to enjoy his coffee in peace.

The artifact glowed in Kenobi’s hands, consuming his entire body in a brilliant crystal blue. Dooku watched—half horrified, half entranced—as the box split open, the brush of the unifying force breathing in sync with the living. "A single touch from a single soul creates an unimaginable shift in the force," the descriptions of the artifact had uttered. The words couldn’t even begin to describe the shift in the air, the impenetrable tick of gears turning. And then, almost as soon as it began, the swirling blue light tucked itself back into the artifact with a soft hiss, leaving behind a man who was nothing like the general Dooku knew.
Standing in front of him was a young Jedi Knight who looked very much afraid.
“Grandmaster?” Obi-Wan whispered.
Or in other words: During the late Clone Wars, Obi-Wan accidentally touches an ancient Jedi artifact, which transports his grieving Post-Naboo self into the future to take his place. Somehow this saves the galaxy.

Ardyn was betrayed, murdered and then caged for two thousand years with nobody but the daemons in his head for company. When the call comes his daemons for the first time fall silent. So Ardyn follows the call to its source, because the alternative is unacceptable.
He has suffered for Bahamut's supposed prophecy long enough. He refuses to do so anymore. And if the one calling him makes for a good excuse to leave this wretched realm and can give his anger and the destructive force that is his magic a direction? Even better.
Or: Ardyn Izunia does not join Niflheim in their war effort and Harry Potter finds her first soulbonded. The changes that follow are nothing anybody could've anticipated.

Summary
There was only so much Harry could take before he fell apart completely.
However Harry luck strikes again and he ends up unfortunately... or fortunately (for him at least) dead.
Which also ends up completly changing his entire worldview in the mere minutes he had to meet Death.
Apparently he'd been kidnapped as a baby? He wasn't even human? He'd been kidnapped across dimensions?!
Yeah no, Harry needed a couple centuries to cope with this new information immediately (and he could apparently do that because Dragels were near immortal so he could ruminate on all this new information for centuries if he so well pleased).
So yeah he and Teddy are on an adventure now (because he'd rather die again then leave his godson behind)..... and yep they weren't being forced to do this by Death at all..... nope.....not one bit.
