They scoff and scorn her whenever she tells them of her origin, ousted from the Summer Court. Certainly, they tolerate her, when they need her power, or when they need her assistance. But none understand her, nor do they respect her.
Finally, she comes across a fellow royal. A woman calling herself 'Queen', an equal, though her throne is wax and papier mâché, and her robes are naught but tattered rags. Finally she has a peer...
And the woman scorns her.
