Zuko's chair had been pushed out, like he had been getting up in a hurry, and Mai noticed that the inkwell was spilled over on the floor, soaking it in black. A few papers were scattered around on the floor, some of them mopping up the spilled ink, like covering up a crime scene.
Zuko was on the floor, under his desk, out cold.

Au where Aang doesn’t almost die so Katara never uses the spirit water on him, and then during the final Agni Kai Zuko is much more hurt and she uses it to save him.
Toph is traumatized from almost falling to her death and she’s worried about her adoptive brother, and they hug it out.
There’s also a smidget of Zutara in there for those who want it.
