Mira looked up, following the sound. Her eyes were blurry from the tears streaming down her face, but she clearly make out the man who threw her off, laughing as the beast grabbed her wrist tightly with its teeth, preventing her from falling.
She could feel its teeth grinding down hard on her muscles and bone and the blood dripping from its snouts. The purple fur around her teeth was drenched in blood.
Red eyes observed her quietly, almost like a silent apology as Mira dangled in the air.

Mira's life has already been a mess. But after meeting Rumi and Zoey it turned into chaos. Fighting off demons and seeing a girl turn into giant purple golden retriever was not on her to do list when she got away from her parents. But when the disappearances in Seoul get worse Mira has to decide whether to stay out of it or help beat up some unruly demons.
