Ken Takakura had long since relented to his daily life of school bullies, no friends, and ultimately being alone, only for the universe to finally give him the chance at making a bond when THE Momo Ayase stands up for him.
….Only for him to blow it.
Despite missing out on a golden opportunity, Ken refused to not at least give Miss Ayase his thanks. So with one little note placed inside a shoe locker, a bond is slowly built and two lives are slowly changed.
A No Power AU, where Ken misses out on his chance to follow after Momo, and decided to reach out in a different way.
(Also for my fellow spicy brain havers that are intimidated by the length, it's about a 30-40 minute read!)

But he was just a nerd that didn't go to University, worked at the rink, and spent all his money on exorbitantly expensive telescopes and astrophotography. Sure, he'd been nursing a crush on the girl for the last six years, but she probably didn't even remember him from High School.

The words slip out of Ken’s mouth before he can think better of them. She looks up from her homework with questions in her eyes, and he’s filled with a rush of embarrassment.
“I mean, it’s okay, I guess. Why do you ask?”
Ken adjusts his glasses and points his face at one of the new posters on her wall. He can’t actually focus on the design right now, but anything is less mortifying than looking at her while he explains.
“I was just thinking about that one time. You know. When we were all staying here for Jiji.”

Ken asks Miss Ayase if she likes to dance, and she gives him a basic lesson.
Takes place shortly after the Evil Eye arc.
