Adam did not just die after being stabbed and getting his corpse eaten by cannibals, his spirit remained, seeing what heaven and hell became after his death, what was his legacy after ten millenia of living, and then he was back in that day, the same day he meet the Princess of Hell.
He decided that he wasn't going to try to play the game in any other way.
He just did not play the game at all.

Summary
In which Percy fell into Hell and thought it was the end, but Poseidon is too much of a protective, fierce father to let his son rot there, so he brought Percy home — but what he brought back isn’t exactly Percy anymore. He still has sea-glass green eyes but if one looks close enough, they’ll see gold too.
Or in which Percy ascends after Tartarus and Poseidon is ten times more of a protective father (and he doesn’t pretend he doesn’t revel in his son’s newfound power).

Summary
This is a first draft/stub/test release of the rewritten, original version of The Core Problem (original as in it's no longer a fanfic). I'm releasing it in this way due to needing some opinions from people to improve it, and this being my current favorite place to release fics and obtain feedback.
If it ends up being popular and I'll consider the quality to be satisfactory, it might be released officially (with proper summary and so on). For now it doesn't even have the title.
