After working through the holidays, the gang rent a large cabin in the snow covered mountains. The problem is, Tim is the only one going who's not part of a couple.
What happens when Lucy gets stuck in the snow? She has no other option but to walk to the cabin until she's frozen through. Only Tim has made it there before her. What else can he do but use shared body heat to help her.Oh yes, it's a shared body heat trope.
I wrote wrote this at the start of this year and forgot about it. Decided to finish today. This is a fun, spicy trope one shot.

Summary
On what should have been a regular call, Tim and Lucy instead encounter a 10-79, and Lucy's life ends up on the line while they wait for the bomb squad to arrive.

“Tim!” Lucy’s eyes were angry, and she almost leaned forward, stopping just as he reached out to halt her, their fingers linking inadvertently in mid-air.
He felt the fury drain from him immediately, replaced by the cold weight of fear, squeezing heavily against the warmth he always, always, felt now when he looked at her.
He knew her well enough to recognise the same reaction in her; her scowl disappearing as her face dropped and her eyes widened. Her fingers curled around his, latching on to him, and he tightened his grip in response.
“You have to go.” Her voice was breathy, her words at odds with the way her fingers clutched his hand.
“You know that’s not going to happen.”
Her eyes grew bright, tears shimmering along her lashes, and for a second he thought she might suck it all up and yell at him. Instead, she dropped her head, the tears sliding down her cheeks and dripping heavily to the floor.
“Please. Please, Tim.”

“I… I-I…” Nolan stammered, bewildered. “I honestly thought they didn’t even like each other! Tim used to be such an asshole to her, and Lucy did nothing but complain about him all the time. How has this happened?!”
“Oh, honey.” Bailey gave him a look of resigned compassion, pouting at his obvious naivety. “Even since I first met them, he’s always put her before everyone else; and she’s had him completely wrapped around her little finger.”
“How did I miss this?” he asked, still reeling... “But if anyone else in this group starts dating, give me a heads up before they start making out on my couch? Please?”
