Wemmbu finally made it back to the Great Sea to ensure that Jaden didn’t reveal his identity to anyone who walked by that looked like him.

Jaden is enjoying his life as Pirate Lord when Wemmbu decides to let himself in through the window and scaring the crap out of him.

    Or:

I missed Promise Duo and was sad when Wemmbu didn’t see him in the last video, so I wrote my own silly story.

    Summary

What he saw made his breath catch.

A figure lay crumpled at the bottom, maybe fifteen feet down. Even in the dim light, Flame could make out the distinctive sharp horns, the tail lying limp and twisted at an unnatural angle. Blood—dark and too much of it—pooled beneath the body.

"Wemmbu?" Flame's voice cracked with disbelief. "Holy shit, bro, is that you?"

Of all people. His biggest rival. The one who'd stolen his items, ambushed him countless times, taunted him, made his life hell on this server. Wemmbu—who was always so confident, so powerful, so untouchable—reduced to this broken thing at the bottom of a hole.

Flame's first instinct, shamefully, was satisfaction. A dark part of him that whispered, serves him right.

But that thought died the moment the figure stirred.

Barely. One purple eye cracked open, unfocused and hazy with pain. Then it sharpened, locked onto Flame's face above, and something primal flashed across Wemmbu's features.

    Fear.

    No—not just fear. Terror.

    Summary

"Egg. Egg. C'mon man, wake up."

A finger jabbed into his shoulder, insistent and trembling slightly.

Egg's eye snapped open to the sight of Wemmbu's face approximately six inches from his own, and even in the dim light filtering through the window, he could see how bad it was. Wemmbu was trying to smile—that winning grin he always wore when he knew he'd messed up but was hoping somehow it would all work out anyway—but it was strained at the edges, pulled too tight across his face.

It didn't reach his eyes. Those strange, darkening eyes that had been getting worse for weeks now.

"Wemmbu," Egg said, his voice rough with sleep and something else, something heavier. "What happened."

    Summary

Flame was going to lose his mind.

It had been a week. Seven days. One hundred and sixty-eight hours of pure, unfiltered torture, and he hadn't even done anything to deserve it. Well—okay, technically he had, but that wasn't the point.

"Bro, I swear to god—" Flame growled, watching as his carefully organized chests shifted.

The items inside clattered across his floor in complete chaos.

"Oops." Wemmbu's grin was absolutely shit-eating as he phased through the wall, tail swishing behind him with obvious delight. His horns caught the light from Flame's furnaces. "My hand slipped."

"Your hand slipped. Your HAND SLIPPED." Flame's hair sparked, small embers dancing between the strands. "You literally reached INTO the chest and flipped it!"

"Prove it." Wemmbu floated upside down, his face now level with Flame's.

Flame tried to shove him away—his hand passed straight through Wemmbu's face. The ghost didn't even flinch.

"That's what I thought," Wemmbu said, righting himself in the air. He drifted over to some other corner and started moving things around. Bread where the diamonds should be. Diamonds where the golden carrots should be. Complete anarchy.
