A demon finds a boy and possesses him to cause havoc. It doesn't go well.
AKA Abaddon's origin story. Except he actually behaves like a demon and gets to be scary. Gets the shit beat out of him when he's found out. Also some headcanon stuff, mostly that evil things/people smell sweet to demons. And the dialog is in weird Puritan English, but it should be clear what's going on.

Summary
After living through countless resets of reality following the Acolytes of Abaddon's ritual, Abaddon can't bear to lose Esther again. He decides to keep her safe forever by poisoning her, convinced she'll return as a ghost at the Undervale Hotel. Instead, Esther simply vanishes. No ghost. No return.
Just absence.
Abaddon has destroyed the one person he was trying to save.
