Summary
When she sat on the tube, all she wanted to do was to yell at him, get the frustration out of her system and hope that he would feel at least a little guilty. Now, however, a new idea forms, pressing to the forefront of her mind.
"My doctor is making me go through heat without any meds so he can do proper blood tests until he finds a replacement, but," she tries to sound matter of factly, "apparently the test results will be more accurate if I sleep with an alpha while going through heat. So," Kate clears her throat, the words coming out before she can think about them twice. "Since this is your fault, you have to fix it. I need you to have sex with me when my heat starts."

Her tone was just as icy as during their negotiations, and Anthony wondered once more what triggered her animosity.

Over the course of several months, several operas and operettas, a string of work calls and endless pages of legal documents, Anthony falls head over heels for her, despite the fact that she initially seems to dislike him.
But asking out the opposing counsel is not exactly the thing you do, especially when said opposing counsel might accuse you of unethical behaviour…
