Summary
When she sat on the tube, all she wanted to do was to yell at him, get the frustration out of her system and hope that he would feel at least a little guilty. Now, however, a new idea forms, pressing to the forefront of her mind.
"My doctor is making me go through heat without any meds so he can do proper blood tests until he finds a replacement, but," she tries to sound matter of factly, "apparently the test results will be more accurate if I sleep with an alpha while going through heat. So," Kate clears her throat, the words coming out before she can think about them twice. "Since this is your fault, you have to fix it. I need you to have sex with me when my heat starts."

Kate did not particularly like to show any sort of weakness, but what was happening did creep her out. Especially since she had no logical explanation why she suddenly appeared to be the source of clear terror for some random strangers.
